Entrepreneurs 'should embrace technology' Welsh entrepreneurs could benefit from embracing information technology and setting up an online business rather than a more traditional enterprise. Matt Hardman, campaigns manager for the Forum of Private Business ( FPB ), said that with the high start-up costs that come with establishing a small business, it could make sense to opt for an online business instead. He said online businesses are likely to encounter less bureaucracy than those setting up traditional enterprises, as factors such as retail fronts and health and safety do not come into play. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for office service provider Regus explained that many small businesses make use of virtual offices, which allow owners to have a "very prestigious address" attached to their company. Siobhan Butler explained that a virtual office will handle all calls, faxes and mail for its clients, while they use technology such as email to keep business owners informed. read more
