HELENA - After a year of effort focused on moving filing systems online, Montana's Secretary of State's Office says the success of online business report filing is saving owners time and taxpayers money. Every year state businesses are required to submit a report listing officers and contact information. The Deputy Secretary of State says that's efficient and cost effective. And that saved the taxpayers of Montana more than $62 thousand in 2006 and the numbers from 2007 are still being calculated.
